IMD MBA 2023

Hello! My name is Suvit Porwal and I am an Indian origin - Dutch citizen currently living and working in the Netherlands. After working for few years down the line within an high tech industry, travelling across the globe to experience the rich culture I feel the dire need to investment in my personal and professional development. IMD came out to be a perfect choice with strong focus on leadership and good balance between theoretical and practical learning.

I came to Netherlands in 2014 to pursue my Masters in Sustainable Energy Technology from TU Eindhoven. Post graduation I worked for one year in engineering sector to design pressure vessels for CERN (via Demaco holland BV) followed by working for an amazing employer "ASML" within high tech industry. I have worked with customers like Intel, Samsung, TSMC to manage operations to deinstall, install and upgrade ASML lithography machines at their location. Furthermore, I also gained 2 years of project management experience in helping customers preparing their facility (cleanroom fab) before installing a ASML machine. I feel now is the right time to take a step towards growing my leadership skills and develop business acumen.

I want to pursue my MBA from IMD, Lussane and would need financial support to make it happen. Splendit will pay the amount directly to IMD. I have been granted a merit based scholarship of 20K CHF to cover a part of my tuition fee but I need more funds to finance remaining part of my studies. 

IMD MBA has consistently been ranked #1 in Europe by both Bloomberg Businessweek and by Forbes Magazine. This further combined with my background education and experience, I am confident to repay the entire loan well within time.
