My name is Marcelo Makoto Higuchi, I am Brazilian with over 6 years of work experience in the management consulting industry. As a consultant, I had the opportunity to work on huge strategic projects in the Brazilian Market for domestic and international clients.
I am constantly pursuing development not only on my professional side but also on my personal side. I really believe that an MBA at the renowned University of St. Gallen (HSG) will help me on my journey. Studying at HSG, I will be able to connect and learn about Swiss principles and culture, improve my skills associated business administration in one of the most prestigious schools in the world, and create global connections with my future classmates, professors, and Swiss locals. Thus, I vehement believe that Full-Time MBA at HSG will be a game-changer in my life.
This loan will help me to cover mainly the tuition and the remaining will be used to travel to job interviews, business trips, networking purposes, etc. Besides, I am reserving CHF 30,000 of my personal savings to cover rental, living expenses, and other items related to the MBA.

Post the program, I will pursue the role of Business Development Manager in global companies, preferably in Europe, such as Microsoft, Amazon, SAP, and Nestle. Ultimately, I want to develop my career further within the company and take over a global leading position such as Business Development Director, later returning to Brazil to share advanced knowledge and experiences acquired through my years abroad. This way, I will be able to be recognized as a global reference, contributing to a diverse and international community, improving society, and helping the world become a better place through education. Promoting education in collaboration with my future company and my global network is a personal goal of mine that I will pursue also in my career
